All Locomotives carry stories. They can be about their work. They can be about their arguments and disagreements with engines and humans alike. They can be about their thoughts, and feelings, of love and loss, or bravery and cowardice. Or they can simply be stories to tell to other engines, to scare and entertain, to inform and discuss.

These are the stories of the Locomotive fleet of the Dark Railway, of their pasts, their presents and their uncertain futures...
